Prior to joining Felix Capital, Carmen worked for three years as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley, where she advised the leading European financial institutions and corporates on their capital raising strategies.
Carmen moved to London in 2013, after having co-founded a citizen journalism start-up in Spain. She started her career in politics, as the youngest advisor to the President of a Region in Spain.
Over the past years, Carmen has remained active in the entrepreneurship ecosystem. As a member of the US Embassy Youth Council, she advised the US Ambassador in Madrid on entrepreneurship and led several programs to foster start-up culture in Spanish schools. She was also a co-founder of TEDxMorganStanleyLondon, the first TEDx Conference sponsored by an Investment Bank. Recently, she has been selected as a member of Founders of the Future, born out of Founders Forum.
Carmen holds a M.A. in Business Administration and Management (Summa Cum Laude) and a Law Degree (Summa Cum Laude) from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE, Madrid) and is fluent in English, German and Spanish.
